Guethary Surf Lodge - in september

It was on the waves at Guéthary that Bruno Reinhardt became famous as one of the bravest of the Surf Pioneers many years ago. Now you can come and stay at the Guéthary Surf Lodge, the home of his son Christophe, big wave surfer, former French champion, famous waterman, and also a surf instructor at the highest level, with a diploma d’Etat and over twenty years of experience.

An Unforgettable week of surfing.

With his team of qualified instructors, Christophe offers an unforgettable trip to the Surf Lodge, with the world class surf spots right on the doorstep. You’re live and breathe surfing for a week, even eating organic food prepared by a Brasilian chef who is pretty familiar with surfers tastes.
With a maximum of eight students per instructor, six full-on days of surf, a surf-bus to cruise from spot to spot finding the best waves during the four hour surf trips, boards for all conditions and levels - you’ll find the Guéthary Surf Lodge is the perfect place to enjoy ‘the sport of kings’.

The Lodge

As soon as you arrive you’ll be enchanted by the setting, right by the centre of the village, where you can watch the sunset over the ocean, and enjoy a barbecue in the garden, remembering the days session, or watching the latest surf movies or rewatching the golden oldies. Christophe is sure to share his stories of memorable trips to Hawaii, Bali, Fiji or Mexico, going back to the earlly seventies, and tell you about his meetings with the great champions and surf legends  who wrote the history of this unique sport.
A week at the lodge includes:
-6 nights accommodation (from Sunday afternoon to Saturday morning)
-5 days of surf lessons, analysis with video to correct mistakes and improve your style.
-Breakfast and evening meal.
